Pittsgrove, NJ, July 9th, 2018-Professional Edge Fishing, Inc. is proud to announce and welcome Charles Daugherty as their new Corporate Sales Manager. Professional Edge Fishing Inc. is a marketing agency that represents professional anglers and the many dynamic sport fishing brands they work with. Charles will be responsible for developing relationships with Professional Edge anglers and pursuing sponsor relationships with endemic and non-endemic companies that seek relationships with those anglers, careful to best suit the angler’s fishing experience and style with the company. Together, angler, sponsor and the Professional Edge marketing team will work to bring brand awareness to each company with innovative marketing campaigns and social media promotion.

Charles brings to Professional Edge Fishing, Inc. over 17 years of experience in sales and marketing. His early years were spent gaining sales know-how in the challenging world of automobile sales. The next 12 years were spent with Summit Drilling, Inc. where he was responsible for managing the day to day activities of the business and driving the company’s consistent growth. As a Project Manager, Charles created a winning sales process, created successful marketing campaigns and was responsible for efficiently implementing a client’s vision for their project. With a proven record of facilitating long term business relationships, he ultimately advanced to the level of Business Development Executive where he acquired over $3.5MM in sales and new business.

As with many people in the industry, Charles is a passionate outdoorsman and enjoys both fishing and hunting. He is a Hobie Fishing Team Regional Member for the Mid-Atlantic region and has represented Hobie Cat Company at several trade shows, seminars and The Great American Outdoor Show. Charles has worked with Don Coffey Company, representing Shimano, G. Loomis, Jackall, and Power Pro, for the last 4 years. Charles is a regular at the trade shows in the Northeast as well as local tackle shops presenting seminars on a regular basis.
