March 24, 2022-Mike Iaconelli and The Ike Foundation® are proud to announce The Ike Foundation® Youth Fishing Tournament Trail. This endeavor has been on the minds of Mike and Becky Iaconelli for many years and is set to launch this spring. The Ike Foundation® currently hosts kids bank fishing events, most recently in Northeast, Maryland and previously in Camden, New Jersey. The mission of The Ike Foundation® is to get kids fishing and, in the outdoors, especially those who have not had the opportunity to do so. The Youth Fishing Tournament Trail is an extension of that mission with the introduction of fishing from a boat. Youth, ages 8-*18 (18 and a high school student) of all skill levels, are invited to sign up and compete in one or all three regional events. Anglers can fish from their own boat or can be paired with fully vetted volunteer anglers from local bass clubs. Prizes will be awarded to the top three youth anglers at each event.

Youth Fishing Tournament Trail Dates:

  • May 21, 2022-Lenape Lake, Hamilton Township, NJ
  • July 12, 2022-Lums Pond, Bear, DE
  • September 17, 2022-Union Lake, Millville, NJ

It is the hope of The Ike Foundation® that as participation grows, the tournaments will expand past the New Jersey/Delaware region.
